The Middlesex Land Trust invites you to a public open house at Highland Pond Preserve on Saturday, April 18, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Hosted by project managers Sally Harold and Steve Gephard of RiverWork, LLC, and in partnership with the Middlesex Land Trust, this event will showcase the recent dam removal and stream restoration project on Sawmill Brook and offer an opportunity to learn more about fish migration and river restoration.
Visitors will be able to see the site, hear about how the project was designed and implemented, and join the conversation about the value of restoring rivers for both wildlife and the community.
