Join hike leader Catie on a 1-mile hike at Upper Pine Brook Preserve. The trail is moderate in difficulty with a couple steep sections and follows picturesque Pine Brook, a tributary of the Salmon River, as it cascades past stone walls and the remains of an old quarrying operation from the 1800s. The group will be on the lookout for birds and other creatures of interest. Bring your binoculars, if you have them.
The hike will start at the preserve trailhead (187 Chestnut Hill Rd) in East Hampton. Click here for Google Maps directions.
