Come join us at the 147-acre property we are working to acquire as our new Meshomasic Rattlesnake Brook Preserve!

This property is located in Portland and is adjacent to Meshomasic State Forest near Great Hill Pond. This is a 3-mile hike through a new preserve and features a 10-acre beaver pond and an abandoned granite quarry.
Participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring water and snacks as desired. Kids are more than welcome, but no dogs, please! Bad weather cancels.
Park and meet at the end of Great Hill Pond Road at the northeast end of the pond.
